※ Notice
The Trial version of MALMIJAL-M requires re-authentication with a new code each time you reconnect, as described in steps 4 and 5 above.
Licensed users only need to complete authentication once.
MALMIJAL requires an internet connection for sign-in and license verification.
When you start the software and log in with your account, MALMIJAL securely connects to the licensing server to validate your session. This ensures proper license management and secure access to the software.
However, once you are signed in, MALMIJAL can tolerate short interruptions in internet connectivity.
If the internet connection is temporarily lost, the software continues running for a short period using a secure session lease. By default, this period is set to approximately 10 minutes, which is sufficient to handle most temporary network disruptions such as unstable Wi-Fi connections or brief internet outages.
During this time, you can continue working normally — including building signal processing models, analyzing data, and generating plots.
Once the internet connection is restored, MALMIJAL automatically reconnects and resumes normal license verification.
For more details about temporary offline usage, see:
“Can I use MALMIJAL offline?”
If your organization requires longer offline operation due to restricted networks or controlled environments, please contact us to discuss possible configuration options.

MALMIJAL and MALMIJAL-M refer to different editions of the MALMIJAL signal processing platform.
In principle, MALMIJAL-M is the full version that includes the modeling environment, allowing users to build signal processing workflows and analysis pipelines within the platform.
The version simply called MALMIJAL can be considered a basic edition, where the modeling functionality is not included.
This version is currently available free of charge for individual users via Steam.
Steam page:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3546080
Because the modeling features are integrated in the main development line today, most references to “MALMIJAL” in documentation or discussions generally refer to MALMIJAL-M, the full-featured environment.
In practice, unless the distinction between editions is important, you can usually think of MALMIJAL as the primary platform name, with MALMIJAL-M representing the complete modeling-enabled edition.
Looking ahead, additional variations of MALMIJAL may appear depending on specialized functionality.
For example, future editions could include variants such as:
MALMIJAL-F
MALMIJAL-R
These editions may focus on particular domains or advanced analysis capabilities within the MALMIJAL ecosystem.

Yes. MALMIJAL is a desktop application that must be installed on a Windows computer.
MALMIJAL is currently available for Microsoft Windows.
The software is developed using a Windows-based application framework and is optimized for Windows environments used in engineering and data analysis workflows.
At this time, MALMIJAL does not provide native versions for macOS or Linux.
Users on those platforms may still run the software through a Windows environment such as virtualization or a remote Windows system.
Yes. MALMIJAL can be used in universities, research labs, and classroom environments.
For educational use, an academic license is available at a reduced price (USD $199). This option is intended for students, instructors, and researchers who want to use MALMIJAL for learning, teaching, or academic projects.
In classroom settings, instructors may also provide a shared login so that students can access the software during lectures or laboratory sessions. This allows an entire class to quickly access MALMIJAL without requiring individual account distribution.
If your university or department plans to use MALMIJAL for a larger course or multiple classes, please contact us to discuss suitable licensing options.
Yes.
Organizations that plan to use MALMIJAL across a team or department do not always need to purchase a separate license for every individual user.
Depending on the usage pattern, a shared access setup can allow multiple users within the same organization to access the software when needed.
This is often suitable for engineering teams, research groups, or departments where different members may use the software at different times.
If your organization is planning to provide access for a larger group (for example 20–50 users), please contact us and we can help arrange the most appropriate licensing option.
MALMIJAL accounts are generally intended for a single user.
However, concurrent logins are technically possible and may be used in certain situations such as classroom demonstrations, workshops, or training sessions.
For example, an instructor may provide a shared login so that students can access the software simultaneously during a class.
For regular organizational use, we recommend assigning individual accounts to each user.
